When we did the initial water test, the water had many aesthetic contaminants. It required an extensive filtration system that would cost thousands of dollars to correct. However, they also had an independent lab check for bacteria and E coli because our dug well was in a very concerning location. When those tests came back “grossly” positive, the President of Secondwind called to recommend I cancel my order with them. They advised us to spend the money on a new drilled well instead.

Apparently, our contaminated water was so bad; it would have reduced the life expectancy of any filtration system and resulted in numerous long-term expenses. They thought that a new well would be safer for my family and more cost effective in the end. They cancelled my order, returned my deposit promptly – and called later to assist with questions as I researched having a new well drilled. They really displayed sincere caring and extensive knowledge about optimal water quality for the homeowner.
